Care by the week
As-Needed Support
Quick Consult Call
A focused 15-minute call for a specific question, no ongoing relationship required. We can discuss what to expect as your pet's condition progresses, how to talk to your children about what's happening, how to know when it's time to make the call to euthanize, or whatever else is weighing on you.
Euthanasia Accompaniment
I'll be present with you and your family during your pet's euthanasia appointment with your veterinarian. I bring tissues, walk you through what to expect at each step so nothing catches you off guard, and can help occupy or comfort children if they're present. I can also help guide your family through a small ceremony or reading if that's meaningful to you, and I'll bring chocolate for you to give your pet at the very end, since no one should go over the rainbow bridge without trying chocolate. You don't have to face that moment alone.
Ongoing Support
Active Support
Weekly rate covering everything from your first visit onward, in-home visits, phone and video check-ins, and ongoing guidance as your pet's condition changes. Your initial visit and care planning are included in week one. I help you understand what you're seeing and how to navigate it, your vet remains your medical resource.
Maintenance Week
For quieter weeks when your pet is stable. Includes a check-in call at the start of the week, plus it holds your place in my caseload since I only take a limited number of hospice families at a time.
Full Circle
Three weeks of Active Support plus Euthanasia Accompaniment, bundled together for families who know they want ongoing support through the end. A modest savings over booking each separately.
After-Hours Call
For urgent calls outside regular hours at the family's request. Your first two calls per hospice patient are free; a modest surcharge applies after that.
After-Hours Visit
For urgent in-home visits outside regular hours at the family's request.
Goodbye at Home does not provide veterinary care, and I cannot diagnose, treat, prescribe, or perform any medical procedure. If your pet needs medical attention, please contact your veterinarian right away. All medical decisions remain entirely with your veterinary team.
We know times are hard.
A pet's illness doesn't wait for a good financial moment, and we never want cost to stand between a family and the support they need. Depending on our current capacity, we are sometimes able to accept full or partial trade arrangements to reduce the financial strain on families who need it.
If cost is a concern, please reach out anyway. We'll have an honest conversation about what's possible. Get in touch.
